The program is scheduled for August 18th - August 21st and will be held on The Seeing Eye’s beautiful campus located in historic Morristown, NJ. • Have a significant visual impairment.
  • Be cane travelers.
  • Have the emotional readiness and maturity required to attend a residential program.
  • Be capable of walking one to two miles a day, and able to receive and implement instruction.
  • Be self-sufficient with daily living skills.
  • Have an interest in learning more about guide dog mobility.
  • Be able to cross streets independently and head toward being independent travelers. Students will be traveling the streets of Morristown under instructor supervision with both canes and dogs, but good travel skills are expected.
